Nana
by Emile Zola, adapted by Olwyn Wymark
July 1991: Teddington Theatre Club
Director: John Buckingham
This unusual 1987 dramatisation of the novel by Emile Zola involved five men and five women playing multiple roles. The part of Nana herself was played not only centrally by myself, but by most other members of the cast. Possibly one of the most challenging roles I have ever played - although I'm not to this day certain that I was successful.
