Sylvia in 'Stepping Out'

Stepping Out

My first show with Wallington Operatic. I needed to master some basic tap-dance routines (the cast are, with a few notable exceptions, poor dancers for most of the play, but two final routines have to be performed perfectly at the end). Sylvia was a delight to play ("My Terry's a scaffolder. Well, he'd have to be, wouldn't he, to get up these...") As Sylv was portrayed as a lady of generous proportions, I am proud to say that this was the one time in my life that I've ever been required to 'pad up' to meet requirements.
